I’ve wanted to get into astrophotography for a couple years but entering the hobby was daunting: camera, telescope, star tracker, stacking, exposure, etc.

I bought a Seestar S30 smart telescope in late 2025. I turn it on, open the app, tap what I want to capture, and the telescope finds it in the sky!

I’m overwhelmed by image post-processing but I’m starting to work with Siril and GraXpert. I’m getting good (enough) post-processing results through the Seestar app. AI denoise works GREAT and then I play with the brightness, contrast, and saturation. It’s not the best but it’s low effort.
